5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies an engine concern in which a hose may separate from the engine oil cooler tube assembly, allowing oil to leak. Sudden oil loss can cause engine failure and raise the risk of a crash, while oil near an ignition source can increase fire risk. A separate seat belt recall involves front and rear seat belts and child seat tether anchors that may have been damaged during shipping and may not properly restrain occupants in a crash. Because these conditions involve vehicle safety, waiting to check your VIN can leave an important repair unresolved. Contact Coggin Deland Ford promptly for a free recall check and guidance.
