6 common questions answered
NHTSA identifies three recall concerns for the 2017 Ford Mustang. A passenger air bag inflator may rupture in a crash and send metal fragments toward occupants, creating a risk of serious injury or death. A driver-side door handle return spring may come loose, allowing the door to unlatch during a side-impact crash and increasing injury risk. An engine oil cooler tube hose may separate, causing an oil leak, engine failure, crash risk, or fire risk near an ignition source. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved. A VIN check helps determine whether your Mustang still needs a manufacturer remedy.
Coggin Deland Ford provides recall assistance with factory-trained technicians, manufacturer diagnostic tools, and OEM parts and procedures.
