5 common questions answered
NHTSA’s three recalls address risks that should not be ignored. Loose or missing transmission accumulator endcap bolts may cause a fluid leak, loss of transmission function, or increased fire risk. A poor rearview camera connection may produce a blank or distorted image, reducing visibility behind the vehicle and increasing crash risk. Insufficient rear drive unit lubricant may cause axle seizure, loss of drive, or loss of vehicle control. Waiting can leave these conditions unresolved, so check your VIN and arrange recall service promptly if an open campaign applies.
