Ford is teaming up with The Salvation Army to help Southeast Michigan residents with disaster relief efforts.
The automaker is donating a customized Transit van that will aid during emergencies as a part of The Salvation Army Eastern Michigan Division Emergency Disaster Services’ canteen fleet.
“Assisting with disaster relief is an important part of our mission to serve the communities where we live and work. The flexibility of the Ford Transit van makes it a great fit for The Salvation Army’s emergency response fleet,” according to Janet Lawson, director, Ford Motor Company Fund.
