Highways and roads are getting filled with more and more drivers everyday, and some of them are going to cause an accident. Many people who have practiced unsafe driving have caused serious accidents, some of which have caused death. This is unnecessary. Driving accidents and fatalities would drop dramatically if everyone practiced safe driving techniques.
Driving the speed limit is important for safety. It helps also to keep your vehicle under control. Driving over the speed limit increases the factor that your vehicle could become uncontrollable.
Drive with your lights on for safety. Doing this even in the day will allow others to see you better. And, when stopped at a stop sign count for a few seconds to make sure others know you're at a full stop. And, it's the law to stop fully.
Be safe as you drive is the responsibility of everyone. Getting where you need to go safely should be your goal.
