5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies four safety concerns for the 2014 Ford Flex. A stressed rear suspension toe link may fracture and cause a sudden handling change. A fuel pump module component may overheat, causing a stall or no-start condition. A seat clearance issue may cause the occupant classification system to suppress the front passenger airbag for an adult. An improperly retained axle shaft may disengage, interrupt power to the wheels, or contribute to vehicle rollaway. Waiting can leave a known risk unresolved, so arrange a VIN check promptly and avoid delaying an eligible remedy.
