5 common questions answered
NHTSA recall information identifies two concerns for certain 2017 Ford Flex vehicles. A stressed rear suspension toe link may fracture, causing a sudden change in handling and increasing crash risk. On vehicles with the affected 3.5L GTDI engine, an improperly brazed turbocharger oil supply tube may leak oil onto engine components; if oil reaches an ignition source, the risk of fire increases. Waiting to confirm an open recall can leave a known safety concern unresolved. Contact Coggin Deland Ford for a free VIN check, and avoid delaying a manufacturer remedy when your vehicle is eligible.
